The Software Architect will consult with, provide guidance and build components/products to migrate to cloud environments and will serve as a knowledgeable and experienced resource in order to accelerate development of the organization’s cloud based product portfolio.
You are responsible for
Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams and across businesses and research departments as a subject matter expert in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/Cloud with solution and implementation focus
Advise on the refactoring and design of existing software to help increase its cloud relevancy.
work collaboratively to lead the design processes for system architectures of enterprise grade software products, solutions, and services utilizing cloud service technologies that meet aggressive fault tolerance and performance standards.
Provide a balanced and technically feasible design that considers the requirements of all business stakeholders, technology landscapes, company strategy, and industry best practices.
A scope and solution that aligns with the business road maps while providing the ability to evolve and adapt to emerging technology and market landscape changes throughout the life cycle of the product or portfolio.
Provide well defined building blocks along with options and scenarios that lead to choosing and implementing the optimal architecture in a risk-averse manner
Leverage appropriate technology to deliver products and services that meet business road maps.
Provides technical guidance in a technical/ functional area& do implementation of key modules
Can develop quick working prototypes, do component module/ sub- system design
Performs the role of a specialist by reviewing work products

Managing and leading through unknowns and uncertainties
- For accelerating the adoption of Philips Cloud Strategy Delivering for data and AI use cases through creating of assets that support these use cases
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum of 12 years of experience
Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Distributed systems, Spring Boot, Websockets Cloud Platform working experience
Deep experience with micro-services architectures
Relevant experience with Amazon Web Services and Cloud Foundry
Cloud computing architecture, technical design and implementations including right fit leverage of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery models
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure components and experience with business continuity and long term data management in cloud environments
