Responsibilities
- Test real-time L1 Baseband software for 5G-NR, LTE-A, O-RAN nodes on ARM CPU Cores and DSP cores
- Work with larger DSP/QA team to take SW through unit tests and system tests using signal generators, test vectors and vector signal analyzers.
- L1 Test framework development and 100% automation of work done
Technical Requirements
- Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and minimum 6 years of professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in testing L1 SW for Mobile Wireless Standards such as 5GNR/LTE/WiMAX/WCDMA/HSPA+.
- Strong expertise in C++/C/Python, programming concepts
- Good understanding of 3GPP Wireless Standards such as 5G NR, LTE, WCDMA/HSPA+ and advanced system features is required
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze logs and must have good debugging skills
- Ability to conceptualize/implement stability & capacity/performance tests for L1
- Must have prior experience in pre & post silicon validation, preferrably a Wireless 5G NR / LTE / 3G SoC – either on UE or eNB/gNB
- Sound background in Communications Theory and Signal Processing is required.
