About the team
Under R2R Payroll & compensation accounting team is more focused towards timely and accurate accounting of employee related cost, as this being one of the big cost drivers our specialized team ensures payroll related costs are properly categorized and coded to correct GL codes in Oracle and generate business level reportingu2019s to controllers and business finance leaders.
What you will be doing
As part of this team you will be assigned payroll accounting related to couple of countries and prepare Balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis and perform monthly/quarterly business analytics and work closely with FP&A and HR teams.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
1.Has good knowledge of general ledger accounting procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying accounting concepts and principles
2.Prepare/update/establish financial reports as per organizational methods and procedures.
3.Monitors and ensures accuracy of various internal financial reports.
4.Independently interpret varied and complex financial reports.
5.Assist team members on the methods and purposes to create accurate financial reports.
6.Drive internal efficiencies in the process and reduce the error rate.
7.Frequent interaction with cross functional teams for early resolution of open items.
8.Provides real time support for all issues and escalations.
9.Update/review metrics and trackers as required for monitoring of tasks performed.
10.Display proactive approach at all times.
11.Organize/Co-ordinate and participate in team meetings and brain storming sessions.
12.Ensure all established time lines for process deliverables are met.
13.Providing supports and back-ups for samples picked up by auditors in timely manner.
14.Analyze problems effectively and take proactive action to resolve them.
15.Understand all G/L functionality and associated dataflow between various finance systems
16.Assist Process Lead in New process migration, Stabilization, and any changes in the processes.
17.Leverage synergy within the team to complete process deliverables during absenteeism in the team.
18.Proactively look for new creative ideas and implement process improvements.
19.Ensure internal audit controls compliance with all SOX controls are reviewed and maintained.
