Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Global Services Delivery (GSD) is the offshore center for Oracle North America Applications Consulting and is into implementing Oracle Cloud Applications for top global customers in the North Americas region. Operating in the Global Blended Delivery model involving onshore and offshore teams optimizing the delivery for the customers.
The functional team at offshore is involved in implementing Cloud Applications for customers in North America along with our North America counterparts. The offshore team develops solutions to complex requirements and does Proof of Concepts, demonstrates the solutions, configures the applications, performs validations, designs solutions to customizations including integrations, reports, conversions and extensions. The managers and senior managers drive these activities in their projects and mentor junior consultants. They ensure best practices are established, adopted, institutionalized and evangelized. They participate in internal and external professional communities, develop industry best practices and publish papers. They contribute to asset harvesting and building and invest in tools development. They may be expected to groom, coach and mentor teams with a people manager responsibility.

  • Qualifications:

    • CA or ICWAI
    • B. Com/BE with MBA (Fin)

  • Candidates with one of the above qualifications with 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in Finance/ Accounts/ Costing / MIS/ Commercial areas preferably in HealthCare/ Retail/ Higher Education/ Manufacturing/ Infrastructure/ Banking/ Insurance companies.
  • Candidate should have basic awareness on any of the ERP applications while working on his/her domain area and should be well versed with the integrated touch points of the business functions.
  • The typical candidate would have –

    • Prepared and analyzed management information systems, financial reports and records.
    • Handled Payables and Receivables
    • Made studies or recommendations relative to accounting reserves and assets.
    • Reviewed and verified the accuracy of journals, accounting methods and procedures
    • Knowledge in accounting principles, practices, and procedures
    • Experience in preparing and reviewing income and balance statements
    • Handled period and year end procedures and finalization of financial statements and interacting with the statutory auditors

    • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
    • Good interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with all stakeholders

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.
Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
