Job Purpose
Senior Manager RWA analytics is responsible to help build, sustain and evolve the RWA Analytics team as the Go to team on all assignments/queries with respect to RWA Model parameters and Business configuration Management. Candidate should possess the required skills to respond to demands of complex assignments on PD, LGD and Risk weight modelling and mentoring the team (if people responsibilities are given)
The Role Responsibilities
Interpreting the Basel II and III models and the way these are configured for SCB.
Be the champion in Business Configuration Management for Capital and aligned tools.
To understand the Capital Stress testing process and help Capital CoE to get better insights on the Stress testing front.
Develop Subject Matter Expertise around Capital/RWA and Regulatory Reporting.
To Understand the Configurations for National Discretionary – Reporting and lead the resolution of aligned queries/assignments.
People / Resource Management:
Build, Manage, Coach, Develop, and engage a team of high performing individuals. Unleash peoples capabilities as part of development of individuals and teams
Process Management:
Identify opportunities in standardization and optimization of processes, drive and support automation initiatives
Establish robust control and governance on the process
Drive Productivity and achieve cost efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives
Create and Sustain a Process Management culture in line with global standards
Work with different stakeholders to continuously improve process controls and efficiency of delivery of services
Create the culture of collaboration amongst the teams to resolve issues and arrive at solutions to address the infrastructure problems
Generate creative thoughts and ideas that further enhances the capital infrastructure and process bringing more efficiency and optimization
Risk %26amp; Compliance:
Manage process risk and create a culture of Identifying, Measuring, Monitoring and Mitigating Operational Risk
Ensure a culture of Risk and Compliance is built across the function. Participate in all compliance related forums to build the culture across the function
Our Ideal Candidate
Essential:
Finance Professionals or Graduates in Engineering + MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
Root Cause Analysis Skills, Strong Business Analysis and Data Interpretation skills.
Good Understanding of Capital/Risk/Finance models and methodologies. Knowledge on Banks Capital Management Preferable with implementation experience relating to Basel II/Basel III
Good understanding of Banking Products / Finance Operations
Domain Skills in Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), Capital Management, Capital Analysis and Reporting, Basel II/Basel III Reporting/Regulatory Reporting, Credit Risk Analytics
10 to 12 years of relevant experience
Desirable:
Professionals who worked on Capital Management projects for banks
Knowledge of Moody’s analytics /Configuration Management
