Month on month Bookkeeping in QuickBooks

Performs monthly bank reconciliations for bookkeeping purposes

Analyse financial information and summarising financial status

Oversight of the A/R control reports and monitor the A/R Aging

Prepare expense and revenue estimates for bank account funding oversight and upper management

Oversight of the year-end W-2 and 1099 processing

Oversee payroll tax filing and deposits Monitor activity with external Accountant and ensure work is completed timely and with accuracy

Work with external Accountant to prepare financial statements and tax filings

Complete and ensure accuracy of all annual state filings in the US; Incorp Services filing and payment of registered agent service fees Monitor bank account balances and cash flow to ensure that the company’s working capital is covered

Reconcile credit card statements & checks received

Oversight of timesheet collection/approval process for placed employees in the US

Review and confirm (if needed) of billing/payment terms of new customer agreements and purchase orders

Oversee financial activities in QuickBooks

SS monthly ratio analysis report for upper management

Generate and send quarterly profit and loss statements from QuickBooks

Other unscheduled tasks as assigned

Eligibility

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 10.00 am to 7:00 p.m. This position at times requires long hours and weekend work. Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent

2-3 years of work experience in an accounting environment

2-3 years of experience in processing payroll

Strong Knowledge and Experience with working in QuickBooks is a must

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting products.

Strong knowledge and understanding of payroll compliance laws of the United States and the US accounting standards QUALITIES

Must be self-motivated without a lot of supervision

Team player

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Critical thinking ability COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Requires good oral and written communication skills

Must be able to write reports and business correspondence in clear, concise business English

Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and colleagues in a professional, collegial manner.

Well versed in using QuickBooks accounting software

Excellent analytical, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Strong communication skills both internally and externally

Strong systems/process skills a plus

Superior Microsoft Excel skills a must
