• 4+ years’ experience with Microstrategy products, with experience as both a developer and architect
• Microstrategy report development including creating metrics, filters, prompts, consolidations, and custom groups. Also proven experience in Metadata Schema Development (Microstrategy)
• Comprehensive knowledge of the MicroStrategy tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP Services and Report Services).
• Must be able to write complex SQL themselves to perform data and performance analysis in support of reporting applications
• Strong knowledge of best practices in the areas of layout, navigation, browser-compatibility, usability and accessibility
• Should raise appropriate questions/queries in the project and follow up on that as well
• Familiarity with data architectures and IT processes (ETL, Change Management, etc ) processes.
• Should have knowledge of Agile methodology
• Strong problem-solving, trouble-shooting and issue resolution skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working effectively and creatively without direction, as well as in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and strong presentation and persuasion skill
• Microstrategy Certification is good to have.
