The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
- Build solutions towards a strategic KDB+ Platform.
- Be part an agile multi-asset ecommerce trading system development team that is currently distributed between Singapore and London with current role in dedicated KDB Test team at Bangalore.
Business
- Daily duties will involve working with data from various business areas by understanding requirements and developing test packs around the main data flows through the system. The system has analytics and solutions to aid our regulation projects as well as pricing/trading algorithms and ultimately P%26amp;L.
- Take responsibility for the system component design and build
- Advocate delivery excellence, ensuring application release quality
- Knowledge of and ability to design, plan and execute application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development.
Processes
- Ensure developed code is fully tested through automated unit tests
- Manage application support handover as part of the QA process
- Maintain and enhance the test coverage after project go-live
People and Talent
- Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with business representatives
Risk Management
- Good understanding of Risk Based Testing Approach
- Identify issues and risks with quality assurance strategy %26amp; standards as well as recommended refinements, improvements and enhancements
Governance
- Adhere to SCB Testing practices
- Maintain testing documentation in electronic formats for audit purposes
Regulatory %26amp; Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group%26rsquo;s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

- Build relationships with fellow QA/developers inside/outside FM, Infrastructure units etc
- Build relationships with development and support teams
