Job Scope:

  • The Financial Markets IT function is responsible for the systems development and technology infrastructure which underpin the Bank’s services for Financial Markets clients.
  • FM TPT is a dynamic and diverse team within the FM IT department spread across multiple global locations and is focused on enhancing the technical and operational capabilities of the Financial Markets trade and post trade functions. It is a forward thinking and highly productive area and an excellent place for technologists and associated support functions to succeed in a rapidly changing and challenging environment.

Job Description:

  • The CDU team requires a strong scrum master with delivery experience. This critical project role will incorporate coordination with impacted downstream applications and projects as well as SMEs and stakeholders from Operations.
  • The successful candidate will be an experienced business analyst/developer (in any tech stack) along with being a scrum master. She should have managed delivery for a minimum of 2 years with an overall experience of 10+ years in the industry.

Key Roles %26amp; Responsibilities:

  • Drive agile practices, and help the team/teams and PO to meet the sprint goals
  • Create and manage JIRA dashboards, drive agile ceremonies and help team to improve the velocity and delivery efficiency
  • Work closely with the Group Functions and Business Areas to implement / enhance data quality controls and documentation.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders from various project teams in FM Post trade %26amp; regulatory, agree timelines and funding, manage external vendors, manage all governance requirements in close collaboration with technical development manager
  • Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Provide periodic project updates to project working group and steering committees
  • Define and monitor at a work stream level key risk and issues and manage them
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing and summarizing relevant information
  • Track and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies

Qualifications %26amp; Skills:

  • Scrum master certification from any recognized industry bodies, with proven track record of working as a scrum master
  • Proven track record in managing deliverables of complex technology projects
  • Experience in the Trade Processing and Lifecycle Front-to-back (Pricing, Execution, Risk Management, Validation, Life-cycling, Reporting/Reconciliations, Settlement, Confirmations, Accounting).
  • Good understanding on the latest technology frameworks and industry practices
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and interact with technical teams
  • Proven delivery track record within financial services industry in complex systems landscapes with multiple stakeholders
  • Able to produce design and architecture documentation and drive the solutioning work.
  • Fluent with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, PowerPoint.
  • Strong stakeholder management

Desirable but not Essential:

  • An understanding of MS SQL database, Java and .NET
  • QA methodologies
  • DevOps
