Job Summary
AECOM is seeking applications for the role of GIS Specialist for an upcoming bid for a Prestigious and Large Scale Dam Rehabilitation Project in Northern states of India. AECOM’s scope of work shall be Engineering and Management Consultancy Services. We are anticipating a project duration of more than 5 years.
Job Responsibilities:
Candidate should have at least 1 year of working experience in ArcGIS software’s especially in delineation of catchment maps, inundation mappings, geo-referencing, geo marking of various utilities especially related to disaster management i.e. rescue routes, shelter, habitation, bridges tec. etc. from freely available Digital Elevation Models.
Minimum Requirements
Should have experience in similar projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Computer Science, with M Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS, or M Tech in Geoinformatics and have at least experience of 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication skills.
