Job Description :
A Financial Control Analyst provides financial competencies to their area of focus. They are seen as subject matter experts in finance topics or systems with a detailed understanding of specific complex financial subjects such as balance sheet, income, costs and provisions. They will utilise their expertise and understanding of financial disciplines to maintain and prepare the general ledger and Financial accounts or to analyse business performance for both finance business partners and line management within Financial control. The job-holder will deputise for their line manager when necessary.
Jobholders have a sound working knowledge of complex consolidation systems (SAP and others) and where the make-up and origin of data is not easy to track. They will be responsible for correcting errors and misstatements, providing input to projects, analysing Change requests and providing Change impact analysis across their area of focus.
• Track, audit and handle various transactions related to fixed assets and payroll
• Support controller to ensure timely and accurate closure of payables. Manage the payable team and monitor their work. Put and execute appropriate controls & checks to ensure accurate and timely pay-out
What will you be doing
Accounting
 Account reconciliations
 Fund Management and Bank Reconciliation
 Month End Accruals / Provisioning.
 Month end Trial Balance preparation and review
 Prepare LOR pack and other group reporting’s
 Follow up with Sundry Debtors.
 Provide inputs for tax and compliance return filings
Audit
 Handling Statutory & other Audits related to work area.
 Support Tax Audits and Tax assessment.
What we’re looking for:
Demonstrable thorough and up to date understanding of financial accountancy
(including IFRS gained within a financial services environment)
Skills that will help you in the role:
Understanding of the financial services market and the latest thinking and developments in finance gained within a financial services environment
