CBSE CTET 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on January 31. The admit card will be available to download at the website from next week, the candidates can check and download their hall ticket from the website – ctet.nic.in. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on July 15 but was deferred due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The exam when conducted will be held across 135 cities following the COVID-19 guidelines, the exam authorities claim. The number of exam centres has been increased, to ensure the least commute for students, centres have been set up in new cities including Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa, Saran, Bhilai/ Durg, Bilaspur, Deoria, Gonda, Manipuri, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Udham Singh Nagar.

When and how to download CTET admit card
Usually, admit cards are released 10 days ahead of the exam. Since the exam will be held on January 31, the admit card is expected between January 20 to 26. Once released, candidates can download the hall ticket through the website – ctet.nic.in. Click on the download ‘hall ticket’ link. Enter the user id and password. Admit card will appear on the screen. Download, take a print out for further reference.
CBSE CTET 2020: Check paper pattern
The TET exam is conducted in two parts — part I and part II. Those who clear part-I exam will be eligible to teach classes 1 to 5 and those who pass part II exam will be eligible to teach classes 6 to 8. The exam contains 150 questions to be solved in two-and-a-half hours. Each question will be for one mark and there will be no negative marking.
For both the papers, child development and pedagogy, language I and II will be must with 30 marks each. In paper I, the remaining parts will be mathematics and environmental science and for paper II the 60 marks will be for subject-specific paper.
