The Infrastructure Intermediate Technology Analyst is a L3 level role responsible for OpenShift infra support. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks. Detailed Technical requirements explained below.
Technical knowledge & Responsibilities:
- x86 hardware knowledge and RAID
L3 Knowledge on Linux6, Linux7
Good knowledge on Traditional Unix and experience on workload migration knowledge
Capable of handling End to End Project / migration.
Knowledge on mission critical support
Knowledge on Datacenter migration / support
Familiar with Operations support knowledge and ready to support 24*7
Should be familiar with Incident / Problem / Change management process
Build and manage PaaS Solution based on Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Kubernetes (Openshift)
Perform architecture reviews and aid application teams in transitioning into Container/Cloud environment.
Proficient in creating automation leveraging Ansible, python and REST API to reduce man hours and time to market.
Design and Build IaC pipelines using Terraform and Jenkins.
AWS compute, EKS, Networking, ElasticSearch, IAM etc.
Adept in Agile and Scrum methodologies and provide guidance on following the best practices.
Multi-domain expertise on various cloud technologies, distributed services and service-oriented architecture.
Experience in Git, Bitbucket and Software Release management.
Function as an SRE to enhance platform stability and perform proactive fixes and documenting root cause analysis and emergency response.
Part of Operations for VMware IaaS Compute (vSphere) and Networking (NSX) - Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a Technology Infrastructure role (education/professional) with demonstrated knowledge of operational process change and improvement
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
