Qualification:
%26middot; Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Testing of API / Web-services (preferably REST) or service virtualization
%26middot; Good understanding of service oriented architectures.
%26middot; Proficience in basic database testing
%26middot; Experience in automating web services is an added advantage
%26middot; BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
Responsibilities:
%26middot; Understand the application architecture including various layers and authentication mechanisms and design accurate test plans for validation accordingly
%26middot; Derive test scenarios/ test cases by analyzing web service specifications
%26middot; Validate web service operations with parameterized payloads using SOAP UI, Postman or any other clients
%26middot; Reconcile results obtained from web service tests with database using SQL queries and joins and/ or UI output
%26middot; Should be able to analyze complex requirements pertaining to country specific fiscal/ legal enhancements and derive test scenarios/ test cases for the same
%26middot; Able to interpret complex taxation logic and compare elaborate transactional datasets with extracts and reports.
%26middot; Maintains documentation of test results, analyzes test results, creates and tracks defects and recommends corrective actions
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
