Job Description :
We are seeking a candidate who has highly developed analytical skills – capable ofunderstanding and simplifying large amounts of data from various data sources. Collate andsynthe actionable data and insights of key operational metrics for RFP / Claims seniorleadership. The candidate must have excellent skills in communication, analysis presentation,must be detail oriented, able to multitask, fast/aggressive learner, able to work with all levels of employees/management and be able to consistently meet project deadlines.
Specific job related tasks include, but are not limited to:
Provide operational analytics to support management of RFP and Claims operations meet
internal process controls as well as regulatory control requirements.
· Extracting production related information from various reporting databases / Datawarehouses and perform data analysis to identify process/operations metrics trends,identify earlier indicators of potential issues.
· Summarize finding and present information in concise format to the RFP/Claimsmanagement and senior leadership.
· Develop appropriate metrics and reporting to support test/control analysis on newprocesses or procedures.
Provide analytics support/justification for project business cases with-in RFP and Claims.
Provide process / data analysis to support the management get a better understanding of theproposed process changes and its impacts on the overall operations.
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will have a bachelor degree in data analysis, industrial engineering,operations research, computer science, mathematics, statistics or any other engineering with 4+years of work experience.
· Must have at least 2 years work related experience in operational/data analytics andreporting using SAS.
· Must have experience in SQL using various tools such as Toad, SQL developer etc.
· Must be able to collate from various data sources (data warehouses, different databaseenvironments) and analyze large amounts of data and summaries finding for variousmanagement levels.
· Must have proven ability to work with large-scale/complex issues and work effectivelyacross functional and organizational lines.
· Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word, andPowerPoint).
· Experience with Alteryx, Python and R is a plus.
· SAS basic and advanced certification a plus.
