Overview
As a database developer, you will be responsible for developing DDL statements for developers as per guidance of Technical and Solution Architect.
As a database developer you should have strong hands-on experience in Oracle and SQL Server database for current and previous versions.
Should have good knowledge of Operating systems like UNIX, LINUX, RedHat, Windows
Should have good knowledge of physical database design and how database acquires and use OS resources.
Should have strong experience in migrating data from one version of DB to another higher version as well as different source and target schema.
Provide technical support to development teams
As a developer following are also expected from you:
Good communication with clients/ operational managers – listening and providing suggestions
Strong problem resolving skills
Ability to form good relationships with business people and team colleagues
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
