Description
The candidate should have experience in process design, conducting workshops, performing fit-gap analysis, configuration and testing in the Transportation management area.
Analyzing & documenting business requirements, mapping them to SAP TM 9.X , embedded S4 HANA to design the future state solution using Best Practices. (not LE-TRA)
Strong understanding of the function of all systems that interface with the SAP Transportation Management (TM), Sales & Distribution (SD),Materials Management (MM), and Warehouse Management (EWM) areas.
Design, build and implementation of the SAP TM for Transportation Planning, Execution and Management.
Load Planning, Freight Optimization, Order Management (Freight Order, Booking, Tendering).
TM integration experience with Dangerous Goods, Track and Trace.
Preferred Freight Agreement, Charge Management, Settlement.
Assist with Knowledge Transfer activities and post implementation support
There are multiple short and long term needs for which we are training multiple people internally, but need experienced practitioners to anchor capabilities and deliver projects.
The underlying TM architecture extensively use complex BOFP framework, a techno functional skillset to architect end to end business processes.
Needs deep expertise on the Integration as TM integrates with core SAP via XML messages, uses EDI/IDOC with the external partners, other 3rd party integration with rate and mileage engines, multiple carrier integration using different integration methods needs SAP PO
TM business processes are tightly coupled with core SAP modules which require cross module knowledge to design end to end business processes flow
Standard TM solution is mainly designed for Road scenarios ; to accommodate rail and sea requires heavy customization and complex custom integrated solution.
