Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
• month and end-year process
• accounts payable/receivable
• cash receipts
• general ledger
• payroll and utilities
• treasury, budgeting
• cash forecasting
• revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• capital assets reconciliations
• trust account statement reconciliations
• check runs
• fixed asset activity
• debt activity
• Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Follow all necessary compliances within timeline.
• Provide recommendations.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Meet financial accounting objectives.

• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Drive weekly and monthly preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Monitoring and analysing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• HQ Reports – Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collectionconsolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.
• Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
• Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing accountingregulations, and recommending new procedures.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Required Candidate profileRequirements
• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, compliances,laws and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• Master’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in accounting/finance
• CPA preferred
• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
• Experience with financial reporting
IT Applications
• Manager must be able to use IT tools MS Office, email and Accounting Tools like Zohobooks,Zoho Expense, Zoho CRM etc.
