The Job
As the Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all IS operations.
You will be responsible for :
Overseeing formal risk assessment and self-assessments program for various Information Services systems and processes.
Liaising with organization technology security policy, ISO 27001, Data privacy and regulatory requirement to remediate new and outstanding issues; tracking & resolving security-related issues.
Promoting and monitoring our corporate wide IS Security awareness for ISO 27001 program.
Maintenance and continuation of ISO 27001 certificate for client which include activity but not limited to Internal Audit, information security risk management, Process owner for internal & external audit – including filling & appropriately responding audit questionnaires.
Managing, coaching and leading staff.
Training other staff and external clients as necessary.
The Profile
You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
You possess CISSP:Certified Informations Systems Security Professional certifications.
Having a certificate in CISA, CEH, ECSA, Cyber Security Courses is an advantage.
You have at least 5 years experience, ideally within a IT Security role.
You have a strong understanding of ISO 27001 as well as industry security frameworks.
You possess sound knowledge of governance, risk and compliance systems, risk assessment and mitigation.
You are capable of working independently with or without direction and/or supervision.
You are a demonstrated leader with team-oriented interpersonal skills
You have good interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.
You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
