Job Description:

The Opportunity
BE/ B Tech/ME/M Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics or Computer Science from reputed institute with 9+ year of experience in test automation for testing drivers, with sound understanding of storage domain and protocols.
Skills:

1) Hands on experience in system, storage and Fiber channel driver testing – initiator and target side.
2) Strong hands-on experience of Python based automation framework design and development.
3) Should have in-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system.
4) Should debug failures and be quick in fixing issues reported in automation scripts.
5) Work independently and continuing to develop the abilities to assume more advanced assignments.
6) Should have strong programming & troubleshooting experience in scripting and storage domain.
7) Should able to work closely with development team to resolve issues.
8) Should have excellent communication and presentation skills.
9) Should have sound understanding of SAN, and experience in configuring FC switches, hosts and storage volumes, name spaces.
10) Hands on experience with testing FC NVMe-oF will be added advantage.
11) Hands on experience with testing drivers for SCSI/FCP, NVMe, and target storage stack (like SCST, TCM-LIO) will be added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Configure FC storage and test bed setups for testing drivers.
2) Understand protocol, feature specifications and carve out test cases to cover depth and breath of the features.
3) Plan test case execution based on release time line.
4) Execution of automated and manual test cases with rigor and timely completion of test cycles.
5) Report issues in timely manner to development team.
6) Automate manual test cases, fix issues in automation and enhance test automation.
7) Work with customers on need basis and trouble shoot the setups and reproduce the problems locally as required.
8) Collaborate with teams for getting closure on reported bugs.
9) Take initiative, be proactive and assume full responsibility of the tasks and initiatives.
