Position – IT System Administrator
Location – Mumbai
Work Experience – 6 to 8 yrs
Notice Period – Immediate candidates preferred
Responsibilities:

  • User administration (setup and maintaining account) on Linux & Windows servers
  • Installations and maintaining Linux & Windows servers
  • Hands on experience in monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios
  • Experience in Linux file systems
  • Helpdesk experience in tools like Jira/Kayako
  • Installation and configuration of software/application
  • Create a backup and recovery policy. Perform and restoration of Backups
  • Hands on exp on NTP configuration
  • Hands on experience on setting and configuring clustering
  • Hands on experience in MySQL/MSSQL/MongoDB
  • Manage & Monitor networking
  • Monitor logs, updates, patch management,
  • Setup security policies for users. Strong grasp of computer security (e.g. firewalls and intrusion detection systems)
  • SOP preparation on applied fixes
  • Maintain IT Asset/servers inventory
  • Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts
  • Basic scripting knowledge on BASH scripting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management.
  • Experience on Cloud/Virtualization technology
  • Experience on Active directory, firewalls, routers
  • Experience in IT Service Management, ITIL
  • Ability to perform formal root cause analysis
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
