Job Description
What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate with multiple other organizations within the company.
  • Technical Support – To install/upgrades to Endevor and to supporting utilities (Compilers, linkage editor, etc. as these will impact the operation of Endevor).
  • Operations/Production Control – In order to develop procedures for migrations and production support, training on the Endevor interfaces, and communication of audit and security requirements.
  • Software Distribution – To assist in the requirements and development of the Endevor/Distribution interface(s), and then coordinate maintenance and support after the implementation is in production.
  • Applications Development and Applications Maintenance – Much of the analysis of the Fidelity ‘Process and Procedures’ as well as Technical requirements will come from analysis efforts directly related to applications development and maintenance.
  • Migration coordination-Provide technical support to migrators

What you Bring:

  • Current standards and procedures (production standards, Testing and turnover and emergency change procedures, etc.), Project management and organizational skills
  • IBM MVS JCL, Endevor SCL, Lenox Customizations, DB2 interfaces
  • Software architecture (functionally how software is developed and put together)
  • Utilities (such as compilers, linkage editors, and IBM utilities), report writers, etc.
  • Operation and use of ISPF/PDF facilities
  • Your security system (usually RACF, CA TOP SECRET, or CA-ACF2)
  • Applications to be implemented, Knowledge of IT regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX)

Added bonus if you have:

  • u2022 Experience with object oriented and structured programming languages
    u2022 Experience with scripting languages
    u2022 Knowledge of release and configuration management tools, e.g., CA Software Change Manager (fka Harvest), CA Endevor, and Microsoft Team Foundation Server
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies.
  • Project, development, and end-user support.
  • Knowledge of FISu2019 products and services.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization.

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Career professional role. Highly skilled, demonstrates extensive proficiency. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects with a wide latitude for independent judgment. Acts as a mentor to less experienced peers. This position is responsible for implementing and supporting best practices and procedures in version control, software development lifecycle management, application build management, application distribution and deployment management, and other software configuration management activities. Sets up complex projects in the version control tool, creates and troubleshoots distributed builds/compiles, as well as trains and consults with development teams on how to use the tools. Requires some scripting or coding responsibilities. May be responsible for upgrading or installing new hardware and software components. Typically requires a minimum of five years of experience in information systems and technology as well as specific knowledge of FIS products and environments.
