Job Description:
Senior JavaScript Automation engineer
Primary Technical Skills: (Mandatory)
1) Javascript with ES6 concepts ( Mandatory )
2) WDIO5 or similar framework ( Mandatory)
3) Selenium ( Mandatory )
4)Dockers (Basic Idea / working experience) and Micro services.
5)Sauce tunnels, and configurations (Basic Idea / working experience)
6)GraphQL ( Basic Idea / working experience)
7)REST API Test automation using super tests or similar tools( Basic idea / working experience)
Good experience in Javascript programming and selenium based Web automation solutions
Good experience Web app automation fundamentals – Webdriver IO/ Mocha/ Chai/ Grunt
Experience in developing end to end system level automation, solutions/tools design & development
Knowledge of ES6, Node.js & Mocha test framework
Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Hands on experience with integration of Various Testing tools, Version Control systems, Test Management Software, Bug Tracking software and CI tools
Secondary Skills: (Good to have)
Knowledge in other scripting languages (python/ perl etc.,)
Knowledge of Appium
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Development, Maintenance of JavaScript based automation frameworks for Web application, JS based end to end system level automation solutions
Build deeper understanding of product/application & build effective tools for automation
Development & maintenance of test scripts using the automation framework
Consistently improve the knowledge on application and enhance automation.
4+ years of JavaScript Development experience with good knowledge in JavaScript programming and selenium/Appium based Mobile & Web automations.
2+ Years of experience in leading an automation development team of 3- 5 member
Must have experience in any standard automation framework like Mocha, Chai, Node.JS, and ES6 standard.
Prior experience using tools such as Webdriver IO, Chrome’s Developer Tool
Strong problem Solving and Analytical Skills.
Hands on experience with integration of Various Testing tools, Version Control systems, Test Management Software, Bug Tracking software and CI tools (Jenkins & Dockers)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Skills (Good to have):
Experience working on different OS such as Linux, Windows and Mac environment
Experience in system design and integration
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the team of 3-5 Automation Engineer
End to End ownership (Framework Development/Enhancement, Test Automation, Execution, CI, Maintenance, Process and Effectiveness Monitoring)
Develop and maintain JavaScript based test automation and framework for testing Mobile and Web-based user interface
Review of Team work and Take action for continues improvement
Exploring popular automation tools, bringing new innovative ideas and integrate to build a test automation system.
Mentor and ramp-up JavaScript expertise in the team.
