Team description. Basware’s Professional Services Team is responsible for implementation of the customer requirements using Basware software solutions and services. With a target to serve customers beyond expectations, team is constantly working and innovating to deliver S2P solutions. Team is working and continuously improving the customer experience by providing optimized solutions to meet the customer requirements.
We are now looking for a Solution Consultant to join our team.
Key role responsibilities
Professional Services Team is looking for a self-motivated and committed Solutions Consultant to understand, define and implement customer requirements for Basware software solutions and services. A Solution Consultant you will be working as part of an international project team with direct responsibility for delivering system integrations, supplier integration, product extensions and other technical aspects of implementing the application suite. You will be part of an exciting, high-performing delivery team, focused on achieving true success for our clients. Basware is the global leader in providing solutions for better buying, better selling and connected commerce. As Solution Consultant your responsibilities will include:
· Working with Basware’s customer base to implement Basware’s suite of software solutions
· Working with internal and external Project Managers, Solution Architects, and other key business users to scope integration solutions and conduct technical gap analyses of software environments
· Development, validation, and deployment of ETL activities with different datasets (e.g. DB, XML, CSV) for various software systems (e.g. ERP, Document Archiving, Purchasing)
· Delivery of relevant documentation during project milestones (e.g. integration mappings, process flowcharts, testing results, migration scripts)
· Contributing to and supporting the company integration strategies, templates, development practices, and quality assurance plans
· Learning data models and business processes with numerous ERP systems
· Working in international projects and global deployments in a multicultural atmosphere
Skills & Requirements
In order to thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have following skills:
· 2 years of relevant business/solution/industry experience
· Fluent English (written and spoken).
· Strong customer facing experience
· Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
· Prior consulting/project delivery experience
· Develop and troubleshoot SQL or PL/SQL statements
· Fundamental understanding of XML document structures
· Able to work in international projects with collocated multinational teams
· Strong problem solving skills
· Ability to multitask and communicate effectively to technical and functional audiences
· Basic knowledge/concepts of software development in any programming language
It will be valuable if you also possess:
· Experience with AP & Procurement modules within ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JDE, PeopleSoft, Lawson)
· Experience with XPATH expressions
· Familiar with troubleshooting technical issues in Windows, ideally with Windows Server and IIS
· Experience of working with multinational organization.
