JOB TITLE: Analyst
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
The selected persons will initially be required to perform specific projects / tasks as may be assigned from time to time before being deployed for full time work on a single desk. The selected persons should be willing to perform such projects / tasks which provide them an overview of the work in the General Accounting services area as well as understand the client business, computer systems, process details and procedures. Requires flexibility on part of a selected candidate to adapt to different work requirements which could change from time to time.
Other key tasks :
Exposure to US Life / P&C/Health Insurance domain reporting is a must
Assist business units of client to close their financial books for period-end (Month / Quarter / Year) and enable them to report financial results (filings)
Processing periodic / regular journals either based on standing instructions from client or as an adhoc request from client, after carrying out necessary checks per prescribed process
Prepare any reports or financial information for use by client
Working Conditions
Strong Accounting knowledge is a basic essential
3+ years of work experience in F&A
In general, willing to work across different shift hours – including USA work hours
Interact with clients – good verbal and written communication. Build and maintain relationships in a multicultural context.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Ability to meet tight deadlines with focus on quality, results and timely delivery. Candidate will need to stretch during peak / critical service delivery periods and may require to work for long work hours
Salary: upto 40k CTC Max
