We have an immediate requirement for HP Data protector and its contract to hire position.
Work Location:Bangalore.
1. Minimum 10 yrs. of experience in IT Infrastructure and Data Center domain with a strong Storage, Backup, DR, Server Virtualization, Networking and cloud based backups.
2. Experience on Data Protector Solution design/sizing/plan based on customer requirement.
3. Capacity management for the backup environment.
4. Experience of Cell Manager Installation of different flavors (Windows/Linux/HPUX etc.) Clustered/non clustered/MOM.
5. Good experience of IDB backup/restore (Online/Offline) and IDB migration.
6. Experience on different backup devices configuration (Tape based/B2D/cloud).
7. Tape library/Store Once management and firmware upgrade.
8. Experience on VTL/ Catalyst device configuration.
9. Experience on Object copy/Replication configuration.
10. Experience on cloud backup/ object copy using DP.
11. Good knowledge of Operating systems (Win/Linux/HPUX), Databases (SAP/HANA /DB2/ SQL/ Oracle etc.) and Applications (SharePoint/ Exchange).
12. Good hands on experience on integration backups implementation (SAP / HANA/DB2/SQL/ Oracle/SharePoint/Exchange/NDMP) etc.
13. Good hands on experience on Zero Down time backup configuration for databases and Virtual environment.
14. Hands on experience on Databases restores from backup and coordination with DB team.
15. Hands on experience on backup integration for Virtual environment.
16. Experience on DR setup and DR activity.
17. Good experience on customer Data Protector Environment upgrade (Mandatory from DP7.x, 8.x, 9.x to DP 10.x) including different flavors (Windows/Linux/HPUX of Cell managers/ IS and clients).
18. Experience on Cell manager migration.
19. Good knowledge of Storage – SAN/NAS (HPE/Hitachi/IBM etc).
20. Good troubleshooting and consulting skills.
21. Ability to perform DP health check and recommend best practice and industry standard.
