Job Descriptions:
Benchmark existing processes to learn about best practices and generate ideas for improvement
Perform process analysis work, such as
Gathering process information (field work, document analysis, stakeholder interviews, etc.)
Document existing process flows (as-is)
Elaborate initiatives for process improvement
Document optimized processes (to-be)
Cost-benefit analysis for process improvement initiatives
Support approval and sign-off of improved processes by affected stakeholders
Lead work and coordination meetings of the Process Improvement Forum
Perform business analysis work for new product/service implementation to support improved processes:
Requirements gathering and documentation
Elaboration of functional analysis documentation for the development team
Provide functional support to development team during execution of development projects
Perform user acceptance testing of new products/services developed
Coordinate pilot tests for new products/services developed
Perform training activities to internal and external customers/stakeholders for new products/services developed
Support sales team during roll-out of new products/services, such as:
Perform product/service demos
Elaborate product/service documentation
Support sales team during customer meetings
Bachelors in business or engineering Degree.
Masters degree and/or technical certifications will be considered an advantage.
Strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
Experience at operational/commercial management level within a freight forwarding & clearing agent business in UAE is a must.
Deep knowledge of customs and other government agencies cargo declaration/clearance processes in UAE is indispensable. Candidates knowledge of best practices in the field will be highly appreciated.
Experience in participating in IT projects lifecycle, including roll-outs, user training, change management, etc.
