Job Description: Technical Competencies [Windows OS]: MUST HAVE SKILLS
Possesses very good conceptual and working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems including fundamentals of networking:
• Hands-on with Windows 7, Windows 10 features including new and advanced features.
• File System, Registry, Process, Thread, Memory Allocation, ACLs, Multi-threading
• Filter Drivers, Windows Internals.
• Driver Testing, Verifier
• Windows Performance Monitor/Recorder/Analyzer.
• Proficiency in Python.
System/Troubleshooting Tools
• Windows Sysinternals Tools – Process Explorer, Process Monitor.
• WinDBG (Windows Debugger), Analyzing crash dumps, Windows Event Viewer
• Role Description: You will be responsible for the development and execution of test cases and QA processes that ensure quality throughout the release schedule. You will document test plans, test scenarios/test cases and test results.
• Identify use cases/scenarios and convert them to prioritized and, effective test cases.
• Create Test Environment/Test bed representative of customers and end users.
• Execute tests within the stipulated time to meet the overall quality and project objectives.
• Apply various test techniques and testing methodologies to uncover early defects.
• Apply “Test-to-fail” mindset, uncover and Report defects supported with all the required information in the “first go”. Triage and track reported defects to closure.
• Apply analytical skills to identify and debug the root cause of issues.
Key Skills: Contract Duration – 6 months, extendable
