Windows Engineer II
Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:

1. Configures, manages, monitors, maintains and troubleshoots corporate servers running Windows X (i.e., 2016/2019) server operating systems. 2. Manages and maintains all corporate servers running AD, DNS, DHCP with little or no supervision. 3. Reviews and architects Active Directory design improvements. 4. Designs, implements and maintains Office 365 Exchange. 5. Designs, implements and maintains Office 365 Teams. 6. Designs, implements and maintains Office 365 SharePoint. 7. Configures and maintains SAN (Nimble Storage) solution, including replication, snapshots and performance scaling. 8. Creates Powershell Scripts to automate any/all applicable jobs, including AD and Exchange. 9. Sets up and maintains virtualized environment with Hyper-V. 10. Ensures endpoint protections are current and addresses any security findings. 11. Sets up and maintain audits for critical systems and applications.
12. Resolves any security vulnerability findings. 13. Ensures all incidents are documented and preventative actions applied. 14. Works with various departments for all IT related projects. 15. Creates and recommends corporate wide group policies. 16. Creates detailed documentation and diagrams of corporate IT environments. 17. Works with Systems Administrator to manage and maintain all backups on prem and cloud, including Office 365 backups. 18. Provides tier 2 support to manage CCTV System. 19. Provides tier 2 support to manage badge access system, 20. Monitors server performance. 21. Reviews and Monitors logs for any issues. 22. Maintains 24/7 uptime for all servers and systems, utilizing our monitoring system. 23. Identifies areas for continuous improvement. 24. Participates in new technology evaluations, design, and implementation. 25. Performs ongoing oversight of a disaster recovery plan for IT infrastructure. 26. Assists with policy and procedures related to IT infrastructure. 27. Provides tier 3support for the Helpdesk team 28. 24/7 on call. 29. Performs other duties as assigned.
Telecom:
1. Monitors and maintains all Telecom infrastructure, including core PBX, Call Recording and Call Reporting. 2. Provides 1st level support for all Telecom related issues and work with vendor to escalate if necessary. 3. Responsible for adds, moves and changes. 4. Designs and implements call flows for call center. 5. Ensures all call flows are documented and updated regularly. 6. Responsible for all phone system backups and software upgrades, including call recording and call reporting software. 7. Maintains 24/7 uptime for Telecom infrastructure, utilizing monitoring system. 8. Ensures High Availability and Disaster Recovery configuration for Telecom infrastructure is documented and tested on a regular basis. Other Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for representing company and for providing customer service in a professional manner when working with staff and other customers/vendors. 2. Required attendance at department staff meetings. 3. Performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with safety guidelines, policies and procedures, regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, and other applicable federal, state and local laws.

Competencies and Skills Required: 1. Understands networking technologies and infrastructure. 2. Understands Windows infrastructure (AD, DNS, GPO, etc.). 3. Microsoft technical design and implementation experience. 4. Office 365 (Exchange, Teams and SharePoint) 5. MS Hyper-V 6. IIS configuration and troubleshooting. 7. Excellent fundamental problem solving and analytical skills. 8. Candidate will be required to maintain a high level of confidentiality. 9. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
