One of the largest Investment Bank having headquarter in USA needs a professional, effective and result-oriented team to transform existing brokerage platform to next generation brokerage platform to achieve the below objective
* Resilient and highly available with guaranteed message delivery
* Scalable: both burst capacity and long term
* Modular allowing introduction of additional services above messages relaying:
o Payload transformations and enrichments
o Support for additional communication protocols
o Additional data contribution functionality (feed to messages or database, etc.)
o Data validations
Responsibilities
Need strong IT professional to design, develop and integrate the above objective. A candidate will work with business users, operation support and testing teams to understand requirements, design and develop the appropriate solution
Guide the team, develop architecture design, develop complex code and help in software quality control
Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments, as well as system updates into production
Oversee preparation and documentation of deployment and configuration scripts for development, test and production environments
Troubleshoot complex development, deployment, environment and system issues
Skills
Must
8+ years experience as senior Java technology lead
Experience designing distributed highly available fault-tolerant applications
Hands-on leading experience with services containerization and orchestration, Kubernetes
Hands-on with Kafka connect and consumer/publisher API
Experience with ElastichSearch and Kibana or ELK/Splunk
Solid understanding of delivery lifecycle, pipelines, best engineering and quality practices, CI and CD
Experience with software architecture and design, diagramming, UML
Very good communication skills – spoken & written
Nice to have
Knowledge of financial instruments, equities, fixed income & derivatives
Experience in Batch script or shell script
Relevant Java certification
