DevOps / Cloud Engineer:
Candidate with 8 to 10 years of IT experience with minimum 3 plus years of experience in using Azure (OR) AWS
This position is a hands-on role that requires exceptional design, implementation, and migration planning and execution skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this position as the Engineer will work with a variety of IT Subject Matter experts.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist with the design and building of reliable, fault tolerant cloud infrastructurefollowing industry best practices.
• Perform hands on management of cloud infrastructure
• Document cloud infrastructure and policies
• Identify automation opportunities and implement using tools such as Ansible,vRealize, Terraform, cloud formation templates, and other similar tools.
• Work with Projects to help them adopt cloud infrastructure and services in order toreduce cost and deployment times.
• Understand on-premise policies, solutions, and technologies and integrate with thecloud infrastructure where applicable.
• Understanding cloud security best practices and work with Security teams to designand implement a security infrastructure
• Serve as a technical point of contract for cloud services and help withcommunication of cloud services to projects
• Experience in managing Windows and Linux firewalls,
Experience in DevOps practices, with a good understanding of DevOps
