Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager the key responsibilities for this role will include:
Closing EOM accounts;
Preparation of monthly results;
Revenue & stock in transit accounting in accordance with group revenue policies;
Detailed results analysis, including variance to budget;
Balance sheet reconciliations, managing intercompany loans and fixed asset management;
Accounting for foreign exchange exposures;
Preparation of Income tax and BAS/FBT returns;
Support of forecasting/budgeting process on a monthly basis;
Support executive in cost control over Australian based overheads.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must be degree-qualified and be CPA/CA qualified or near completion with either a strong business services background or five year’s commercial experience. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, command strong Excel skills, enjoy a team environment and be committed to improving processes.
