Job Description
· Consultant is responsible for support, maintenance, performance and uptime of hosted Severs
· Manage the Service Level Agreements
· Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
· Install and configure Mercury Integrated Systems and support infrastructure applications.
· Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
· Involve in User Provisioning in Non-prod environments – Create, change, and delete user accounts per request
· Check with Global Vulnerability Management team for regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
· Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
· Participate in Meetings and provide recommendations
· Maintain IADs Infrastructure Architecture Diagrams for various application teams
· Co-ordinate between various teams for effective Issue resolution
· Participate and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations for Service and Application accounts
· Participate in different Test cycles for QA and Fictional team and support them as applicable
· Check on Server Certificates both internal and External Entrust. Renew the certs on Expiry
· Troubleshooting Citrix issues and AD issues.
· Effectively own WinShuttle Central Administration across environments and user provisioning
· Establish network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization etc.
· Troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendors and Operations team
· Open connections and firewalls between hosted and IBM hosted Systems
· Participate in Packaging request and submit intake forms as appropriate
· Install all desktop tools and applications from Service catalogue to the End users machine based on request
· Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities
Skill Set required
Possesses high degree of experience in all facets of Environmental area.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with Good communications skills.
Minimum 8 years experience in Environment Management and 7+ years experience in Information Technology.
Should be an all-rounder and should be self-motivated to learn new technology.
Should have good knowledge in SharePoint, Server Builds, Winshuttle, Active directory, DNS, Citrix, NAS and SAN storage, Service Now Tool.
Azure knowledge is good to have but not mandatory.
Should also have knowledge in ITIL.
